Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed has informed that the country's economy has recovered from the brink of disaster.
He added that Bangladesh is now attracting attention from many. Despite some mistakes, the situation is satisfactory.
Adviser made this statement while speaking to the media after the meeting of the Advisory Council on Government Procurement at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed emphasized that there is no reason to be discouraged about the economy. He also mentioned that there will be no issues in the economic relationship between Bangladesh and the United States, in response to U.S. Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard's comments.
He further mentioned that efforts are underway to graduate from LDC (Least Developed Country) status by 2026.
The Finance Adviser said, “The situation has improved, and businessmen often attempt to implement various systems. We are trying to manage the situation.”
