Professor M Aminul Islam, special assistant to the Chief Adviser in charge of the Ministry of Education, has resigned, reports UNB.
He submitted his resignation to the Secretary of the Cabinet Division on Monday. He confirmed the media over the phone.
Earlier, in November, the interim government's chief advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, appointed three special assistants with the rank of state minister. These three special assistants are assisting the advisors of the ministries of home affairs, health, and education. Among these three, Professor M Aminul Islam was in charge of education.
There have been several reshuffles and new appointments in the advisory council in the last seven months. The interim government now has 23 advisors, including the chief advisor.
