The Election Commission (EC) is going to invite applications for registration from new parties willing to participate in the 13th National Parliament elections. For this, they will issue a public notification on Monday (March 10).
EC additional secretary KM Ali Newaz confirmed the matter on Sunday. He said it has been decided to issue a public notification to invite registration applications from new parties on Monday.
The Commission has already approved this decision. Applications can be submitted until April 20.
Currently, there are 54 political parties registered with the EC. This number will increase further once the registration process is completed.
