On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the government has decided to pay the salary of all officials and employees working in government, semi-government and autonomous institutions for the month of March on the 23rd of this month.
This information was shared in a notification from the Treasury Management Branch of the Ministry of Finance on Sunday. The notification was signed by senior assistant secretary Md. Abdul Gafur.
The notification said that as per the official calendar-2025, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on March 31 (subject to the sighting of the moonh). Hence, the government has decided that the salary and allowances of all officials/employees (gazetted, non-gazetted) working in government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, commissioned/non-commissioned officers of the military and the retirement allowance of retired pensioners for the month of March will be paid on March 23.
