The High Court (HC) on Sunday instructed the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to urgently remove all the social media images of Magura’s raped child.
The bench of Farah Mahbub and Debashish Rai Chowdhury issued the suo moto order.
On Sunday, the High Court is also expected to order relevant authorities to ensure proper medical treatment for the victim.
Earlier, Barrister Mahsib Hosain asked the court to ensure the victim's physical safety citing newspaper articles over the heinous crime.
