The main partner of the 12-party alliance Jatiya Party (Jafar), has officially left the alliance. At the same time, the 12-party alliance has been declared dissolved.
This decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the Jatiya Party (Jafar) executive committee at the Khilgaon office of the Jatiya Party (Jafar) chairman in the capital on Saturday. At the same time, despite leaving the alliance, it was agreed that Jatiya Party (Jafar) will strengthen the movement on the streets with all its might as a partner in all movements and struggles under the leadership of BNP in the coming days.
In this regard, former Jatiya Party (Jafar) MP Ahsan Habib Lincoln said, “For a long time, there has been extreme anger among the Jatiya Party (Jafar) leaders over the activities of some names of the main leader of the 12-party alliance. In view of which, an emergency meeting of the executive committee was held today. It was decided that from today onwards, Jatiya Party (Jafar) will leave the 12-party alliance led by Mustafa Jamal Haider and conduct political activities alone. At the same time, the Jatiya Party (Jafar) under the leadership of Mustafa Jamal Haider will continue the movement on the streets to accelerate the fight for democracy under the leadership of BNP. From today, we have officially withdrawn from all the activities of the 12-party alliance.”
According to the sources, in the emergency meeting of the party held on Saturday, the leaders of the Jatiya Party (Jafar) expressed strong discontent and dissatisfaction with the long-standing activities of the 12-party alliance. In particular, the leaders of the Jatiya Party (Jafar) expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the activities of some of the names of the supreme leaders of the alliance. At that time, all the leaders strongly urged the party chairman Mustafa Jamal Haider to leave the 12-party alliance. Then, the alliance head Mustafa Jamal Haider decided to officially dissolve the 12-party alliance in the meeting.
