The moon of the month of Ramadan was sighted in the sky of Bangladesh on Saturday evening and the holy Ramadan will begin on Sunday.
On Saturday evening, Religious Affairs Advisor Dr. A.F.M. Khalid Hossain told the media that the moon has been sighted in different parts of the country. That news has reached us.
As the moon was sighted, the month of Shaban will end on the 29th day of Saturday. And the month of Ramadan will begin on Sunday.
As a result, the religious devotees of the country will fast from Sunday after eating Sehri on Saturday night.
The National Moon Sighting Committee held meeting after Maghrib on Saturday, to take a decision on the sighting of the moon of the month of Ramadan. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. The meeting was presided over by A.F.M. Khalid Hossain, the advisor to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Meanwhile, the moon of the month of Ramadan of Hijri 1446 was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Friday. As a result, the holy month of Ramadan began in the country on Saturday. In addition, fasting began in several countries of the world, including the United Arab Emirates, on Saturday.
