The teaser of Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan’s upcoming Eid film “Borbaad” has been released. The 1-44 minute teaser was released on YouTube and social media on Thursday evening.
Shakib Khan also shared the teaser on his social media. “All is fair in love and war,” he wrote in the caption. Soon after its release, the teaser video went viral on social media.
In the teaser, Shakib Khan appears in a ferocious look. At the beginning of the teaser, a female voice is heard saying to Misha – “I’m ashamed to be a mother, but you are not ashamed to be your son’s father.” Shakib is portrayed as a gangster in the film. The actor was seen in several brutal scenes. He was also seen in a romantic avatar. “I only think of one thing, Neetu. She is mine,” he said in the teaser.
Tollywood actress Idhika Paul played the role of Neetu in “Borbaad”. She has once again paired up with Shakib Khan after “Priyotoma”. She made her big screen debut with Shakib Khan in the 2023 film “Priyotoma”.
Directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, the film also stars Shahiduzzaman Selim, Misha Sawdagar, Indian actors Jishu Sengupta, Manav Sachdev and others.
It was known that the film is made with a budget of around Tk15 crore. The movie is said to be the most expensive in the Bangladeshi film industry.
“Borbaad” is scheduled to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr 2025.
