BNP has called for an extended meeting in the capital on February 27. However, the venue of the meeting has not been finalized yet.
The party's senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi shared this information at a press conference at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Sunday afternoon.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, “The leaders of the BNP's National Standing Committee and Central Executive Committee, members of the Chairperson's Advisory Council, district BNP presidents/conveners and general secretaries/member secretaries, upazila, thana and municipal BNP presidents/conveners and general secretaries/member secretaries, presidents/conveners and general secretaries/member secretaries of 11 central organs and associate organizations, candidates with the paddy sheaf symbol in the 2018 11th parliamentary elections and candidates of the party who had received primary nominations will participate in the extended meeting.”
A 27-member committee has been formed with Ruhul Kabir Rizvi as the convener to hold this extended meeting. In addition, 6 subcommittees have also been formed.
