The tenures of five reform commissions, formed separately from the six that have already submitted their reports, have been extended until March 31.
These include the Women’s Affairs Reform Commission, the Labour Reform Commission, the Local Government Reform Commission, the Media Reform Commission, and the Health Reform Commission, reports UNB.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
The government initially formed these commissions on November 18, 2024, granting them three months to submit their reports, with the original deadline set for February 17. According to the notification, the extension aims to allow the commissions to complete their work effectively, with the new deadline now set for March 31.
