Stating that the events like July Revolution lead to the fall of tyrannical rulers and dictatorships, Law Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul said, “This is how a new state is born. Therefore, we have to think not just for ourselves, but for the country like the July warriors.”
He said this at the third convocation of the Central Women’s University at the Officers’ Club in the capital on Saturday.
The Law Advisor said, “Even if you are studying anywhere abroad, you have to return to your homeland and work for the country.”
Environmental Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan said, "The new generation has to work to preserve the country’s environment and biodiversity, control environmental pollution, deal with risks in climate change, develop forest resources and ensure the environment with livable technology through sustainable management.”
She also said, “The philosophy of ecofeminism is basically about protecting nature and liberating women. These two struggles are actually two sides of the same coin.”
The Advisor urged the young generation to develop into courageous, thoughtful and just human for a sustainable, green and humane future.
Education Advisor Dr. C. R. Abrar said, “The contribution of the young generation in expressing their existence as citizens with rights from disenfranchised subjects is undeniable.”
