The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued traffic guidelines for the safe and unhindered observance of the historic International Mother Language Day and Martyrs' Day on February 21, reports BSS.

Special traffic measures will be taken around the Central Shaheed Minar area, said a press release issued on Wednesday signed by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Media and Public Relations Division) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

The DMP instructed people to enter the Shaheed Minar through Palashi Crossing, Bhaskarya Crossing and Jagannath Hall Crossing.

After paying homage, they will exit the Shaheed Minar premises through Ramna Crossing-Doel Chattar.

There will be diversions at Shahbagh Crossing, Nilkhet Crossing, Shahidullah Hall Crossing, Chankharpul Crossing, Palashi Crossing and Bakshibazar Crossing.
