The northern district of Panchagarh is shivering at the lowest temperature of the season. The temperature was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of the district at 6 am on Friday.
The information about the temperature record was given by the First Class Meteorological Observatory of the district.
The Meteorological Office said on Friday that a temperature of 7.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tenulia at 6 am. At that time, the humidity in the air was 100 percent. At 9 am on Thursday, 9.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tenulia.
Meanwhile, the forecast for the next 72 hours from 6 pm on Thursday has said that the extension of the sub-continental high pressure area has extended to West Bengal and adjacent western parts of Bangladesh. The normal low pressure of the season is located in the south Bay of Bengal, and its extension has extended to the North Bay of Bengal, due to which light to moderate fog may fall in some places across the country from midnight to morning.

In addition, a mild cold wave is blowing over the five districts of the country: Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Panchagarh and Chuadanga, which may further expand in the next 24 hours. And during this time, night temperatures across the country may decrease by 2 degrees and day temperatures may increase by 3 degrees.
