The Sub-Committee on Health of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has prepared a preliminary list of martyrs in the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. So far the initial list includes information of a total of 1,581 individuals.
A preliminary list of 1,581 individuals killed during recent anti-discrimination student movement has been compiled by the movement's Sub-Committee on Health, organizers announced on Saturday.
This information was revealed at a press conference organized at the Student-Teacher Center (TSC) auditorium of Dhaka University.
The list was created with assistance from several organizations, including As-Sunnah Foundation, Human Rights Support Society, and Red July, along with contributions from local sources.
“This is a joint effort by the Central Sub-Committee on Health and the National Citizen Committee,” said organizers. “We have sent the initial list to district committees led by Deputy Commissioners for verification, after which the Ministry of Health will receive the final list.”
