Baitul Mukarram Khatib Mufti Ruhul Amin removed

Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Khatib Moulana Mufti Ruhul Amin has been removed from his position. 

The Ministry of Religious Affairs revealed the information through a media release on Sunday.

The release, signed by Md. Abubakar Siddique, public relations officer of the ministry, said that Mufti Ruhul Amin was removed following all procedures accordingly.  

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, Mufti Ruhul Amin was absent at his workplace.

As he returned on Friday last at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, a clash occurred before the Jummah prayers.
