The government has postponed examinations at all schools, colleges, and polytechnic institutes across the country for an indefinite period amid the deteriorating situation ensued over the quota reform movement.
The decision has been taken for the sake of overall security and safety of the students, said a handout of the Ministry of Education Tuesday evening, reports The Daily Sun.
All examinations of schools, colleges, and polytechnic institutes will be suspended for an indefinite period from Thursday, read the ministry handout.
The government has taken the decision when at least five people including two students were killed during the today’s anti-quota movement.
