Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday -said that the quota reform protesters are crossing the limit.
He said they (quota agitators) should not crowd the roads unnecessarily and should not spoil normalcy of education and I request them to go back to their respective universities.
The minister said, "The court wants to listen to the students. So, there is no need to trouble them on the road. We are taking note of their requests and demands. However, many have started to rush to use them. Don't give them the chance to make conspiracy and withdraw the movement."
In response to the question whether the police will go into action if the movement continues, the home minister said, "When does the police go into action? If there is damage to property, if there is arson, if there is public suffering, the police will not sit still."
