'Neelchakra: Blue Circle' awaiting release in Saudi Arabia and China

The Bangladeshi film Neelchakra: Blue Circle recently had its premiere at the prestigious American Film Market (AFM). Following its debut, the movie has garnered attention from international markets, with both Saudi Arabia and China expressing interest in screening it in their respective countries.

Mithu Khan, the producer of Neelchakra: Blue Circle, revealed that the distribution companies in Saudi Arabia and China are keen to translate the film into their native languages for release in their markets. Khan also confirmed that the movie premiered at the American Film Market, which took place in Las Vegas from November 5 to November 10.

Speaking about the American Film Market, Mithu Khan explained that the event is held annually every November and serves as a major platform for filmmakers, distributors, sellers, and investors from around the world. It provides an opportunity for industry professionals to engage in discussions on film acquisitions, sales, and project financing. Khan added that Neelchakra: Blue Circle participated in the market this year through the international sales and distribution company Evil Entertainment.

Mithu Khan revealed that Neelchakra: Blue Circle premiered on November 8 and has received positive feedback from both audiences and critics. He also mentioned that India and China have shown interest in acquiring the film. When asked about the release date in Bangladesh, Khan stated that the film's release will be announced once the situation in the country stabilizes, noting that the current environment does not appear conducive for a local launch.

In Neelchakra: Blue Circle, popular actors Arefin Shuvo and Mandira Chakraborty have joined forces for an engaging collaboration. Arefin Shuvo takes on the lead role, while renowned musician Balam plays a pivotal character in the film. In addition to his acting, Balam also lent his voice to one of the songs featured in the movie.

Neelchakra: Blue Circle, a gripping thriller, revolves around a storyline that feels relatable to many. The plot explores the profound impact of a family member's sudden accident on the entire family. It also delves into the darker side of technology, highlighting the potential traps it can set. According to the filmmakers, this type of story is something many can connect with, as every family has its own share of challenges and unexpected events.
