Six years after his death, Ayub Bachchu's voice will be heard by fans again. His unreleased song "Inbox" will be released on December 1, bringing joy to his loyal followers.
The song, recorded before Ayub Bachchu's death in 2018, is part of a collection he left behind. Its release on December 1st will be a special moment for fans and the music world. "Inbox" is the first of several songs to be released after his death by the Ayub Bachchu Foundation to keep his legacy alive.
The song was written by Niaz Ahmed Anshu and composed and performed by Ayub Bachchu. Its release is particularly meaningful as it coincides with "Band Music Day," a day Bachchu founded to celebrate the music genre he deeply loved, reports The Daily Star.
Bachchu's foundation is releasing his previously unreleased song. "Inbox" is just the start, said Abdullah Al Masud, LRB's guitarist. He mentioned that more unheard tracks will be released, and they are open to sponsorships to support this. The music video for "Inbox" has been directed by Tanvir Tareq and will be available on platforms like YouTube, iTunes, and Spotify.
LRB (Love Runs Blind), which Bachchu formed in 1991, became one of Bangladesh's most influential rock bands, but after his death, the band's journey came to an official close. Masud acknowledged that continuing without Bachchu felt impossible, given the standard he set. The band's legacy, however, lives on through initiatives like the Ayub Bachchu Foundation.
Ayub Bachchu, born in Chattogram in 1962, started his music career in the 1970s with bands like Feelings (now Nagar Baul) and Souls before forming LRB, which became an iconic band. His impact on Bangladeshi music, both as a solo artist and with his band, is unmatched. The release of his upcoming song is set to evoke strong emotions among his fans nationwide.
