The protesting students have announced to continue their movements demanding quota reforms in the Bangladesh government services, Reports Daily Sun.
They also clarified that their movements have no correlations with the status quo order on quota system issued by the the Appellate Division of the High Court on Wednesday.
They said, “Basically, we want the government’s executive decision in this regard. We demand reformation of quota keeping only five percent for the physically challenged and the underprivileged people.”
The protestors staged demonstrations at different intersections of the city, including Science Lab, Shahbagh, Chankharpul, and Dhaka-Aricha highway to press home their demand.
Dhaka University Students and jobseekers blocked the Shahbagh intersection around 11:50 am.
