6 arrested in Chattogram lawyer murder case
Saiful Islam Alif, the slain lawyer

Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has arrested at least six individuals as suspects in connection with the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif in the port city, following the review of video footage of the incident, as stated by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing in a message sent to the media on Wednesday.

The message also stated that CMP had arrested 21 individuals for vandalism and assaulting police during clashes on Tuesday.

Additionally, six members of the Awami League and the outlawed Chhatra League were also detained with homemade improvised explosives (cocktails) in the port city.
