The sale of all advance train tickets ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr is going to start online on Friday, reports BSS.
Passengers will be able to purchase the tickets for 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 April on 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 April respectively, a press release of the Ministry of Railways said.
On the other hand, the return tickets of 25-30 April will be sold from 15 to 20 April.
For a hassle-free service for the passengers in the holy month of Ramadan, cent percent railway tickets will be available online.
The railway tickets can be bought through "Rail Sheba" mobile app alongside SMS through verification of the National Identity Card, passport and birth certificate.
On the occasion of the Eid-ul Fitr, the operation of cross-border train 'Mitali Express' will remain suspended from 18 to 27 April and for 'Maitri Express,' it will be from 20 to 27 April.
However, the cross-border 'Bandhan Express' will run as usual.
Starting from 17th April to the day before Eid, the Dhaka-bound Ekota, Panchagarh, Nilsagor, Kurigram, Lalmoni and Rangpur Express trains won't have a break at Dhaka Airport Station, the release added.
