Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has recovered 2-kg of heroin and 58,000 Indian Dexamethason tablets in two separate drives, reports BSS.
None could be arrested during the drives, BGB sources said.
A special patrol team of BGB from Sonamasjid border out post conducted a raid at Pirojpur frontier under Shibganj upazila of the district around 8:45 pm on Tuesday night and found two kg of heroin in an abandoned condition.
Another team of BGB from Chowka border out post raided Raghabbati beel area in Shibganj upazila around 1:55 am on Tuesday and found unclaimed 58,000 Indian Dexamethason tablets.
