President M Abdul Hamid on Thursday congratulated all concerned of the Bangladesh Under-20 Women Football Team for their victory over Nepal in SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship, reports BSS.
In a congratulatory message, Hamid greeted all the players, coach and officials of the team as well as Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) officials for achieving the victory over Nepal.
He said this victory attained a reputation for the country's football worldwide.
The head of the state hoped that this trend of victory would continue in the days to come.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh won the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship title beating Nepal by 3-0 goals in the final at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium at Kamlapur.
