Separate courts in Dhaka on Sunday showed BNP senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Jubo Dal president Sultan Salauddin Tuku arrested in separate cases, reports BSS.
Confirming the matter to the media, Tuku’s counsel Advocate Nihar Hossain Faruk said police produced his client before the courts of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur and Tofazzal Hossain one after another and pleaded to show him arrested in sabotage cases filed with capital’s Shahbagh, Romna and Palta Police Stations.
“Accepting the pleas, the courts showed Sultan Salauddin Tuku arrested in those cases,” Advocate Faruk said.
Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arafatul Rakib allowed a prosecution plea to show BNP senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in a complaint register (CR) case.
