Touchstone statue of Vishnu recovered in Panchagarh

A touchstone idol of Lord Vishnu has been recovered from the Malkadanga area in Panchagarh on Monday night.

On information, a team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) conducted a raid at Betbari Sarderpara in the Malkadanga area at around 10 pm and recovered the idol weighing 93 kg in an abandoned state, said a press release issued by BGB on Tuesday.

The estimated value of the statue is Tk 93.10 lakh.
