Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed profound grief and shock at the death of language movement veteran, one of the organizers of the Great Liberation War and Ekushey Padak winning reputed journalist Ranesh Maitra.
In a message of condolence, she said, "He will be remembered through his works, who struggled throughout his life".
The premier also prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
