World Health Organization’s (WHO) director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that he deplores the killing of “at least 12 paramedics”, who were killed in an Israeli air strike on a Lebanese civil defence centre in Lebanon’s eastern Baalbek region, reports Al Jazeera.
“The centre has been massively damaged. Attacks on health care are becoming the new normal in conflicts. This must stop – everywhere!” Tedros wrote in a post on social media.
