The UN says 88 UNRWA staff killed in Gaza, the “highest number” of “UN fatalities ever recorded in a single conflict,” reports Al Jazeera.

Palestinian Health Ministry says more than 200 people were killed in Israeli air strikes on Gaza overnight.
In a statement, the ministry added that the death toll only covered Gaza City and the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Israel is falsely claiming that it is not targeting civilians. It is starving the civilians and targeting them with its air strikes.
Nearly half of the dead in Gaza are children and those who have survived are now struggling physically and psychologically, the UN’s children agency says.
On the other hand, fighting has picked up along the Lebanon-Israel border between Hezbollah fighters and the Israeli army in recent days, with civilians and journalists also being targeted.
On Sunday, an Israeli air attack killed three children and their grandmother travelling in a car in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese armed group Hezbollah responded by firing at the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona, killing one Israeli.
Lebanon’s PM Mikati called the killing on Sunday an “abhorrent crime” and said his government will submit a complaint against Israel to the UN Security Council in response to “Tel Aviv’s targeting of civilians and children” in southern Lebanon.
At least 10 civilians, 59 Hezbollah fighters and one journalist have been killed in the border area since October 7.
