Bangladesh Bank launches RTGS

Bangladesh Bank has started instant foreign currency transactions, from bank to bank, through online-based real time gross settlement (RTGS), reports BSS. Banks are primarily clearing and settling in US dollars, pounds, euros, Canadian dollars and Japanese yen.
