Trade between Bangladesh and India through Hili land port of Dinajpur will remain suspended for eight days from March 29 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, reports UNB.
Prof Shahinur Islam, general secretary of Hili C ustoms C&F Agents Association, said that trade will remain closed from March 29 to April 5 for the Eid holidays.
Trade activities will resume at the land port on April 6, he said.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hili Immigration Check-post, Ariful Islam said that cross-border travel will continue through the immigration check-post of the land port during this time.
