On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, BNP leaders paid tribute to the party founder and late president Ziaur Rahman.
Leaders visited the mausoleum of Zia at Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Monday morning.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee member Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan, vice-chairman Ahmad Azam Khan, advisory council member Amanullah Aman, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, joint secretary general Habib Un-Nabi-Khan Sohel, Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, voluntary affairs secretary Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu, health affairs secretary Rafiqul Islam, youth affairs assistant secretary Mir Newaz Ali Newaz, Dhaka metropolitan north unit convener Aminul Haque were present at the time.
After paying tribute, Mirza Fakhrul extended Eid greetings to everyone on behald of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, acting chairman Tarique Rahman and party’s standing committee members.
