Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister's defense advisor Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AKM Shamsul Islam.
A three-member delegation led by the Pakistani High Commissioner participated in the meeting held at the Office of the Defense Advisor of the Armed Forces Division at Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday.
The meeting discussed the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan and various issues of mutual interest. They discussed in detail the enhancement of mutual cooperation at the military level, exchange of experience and training activities between the two countries.
This courtesy call is expected to further strengthen and expand the defense cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan and the friendly relations between the two countries in the future.
