Five people were killed and at least six more were injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Lohagara of Chattogram on the morning of Eid day.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 am on Monday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Fire Service Media Officer Talha Bin Jasim confirmed the accident to the media.
He said that a Saudia Paribahan bus collided head-on with a minibus in the Jangalia Mazar Gate area of Lohagara.
On information, a unit of Lohagara Fire Station carried out rescue operations, he added.
