Gonoshasthaya Kendra, in collaboration with the
Bangladesh Physical Therapy Association (BPA), has launched a rehabilitation programme for those injured during the July mass uprising.
The initiative was officially announced at
Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, on Saturday, according to officials from both
organisations.

Vice-President Ishrat Jahan.
Several patients who were seriously injured during the movement also attended the inauguration cerem- ony. As part of their support, the BPA presented a heque for Tk1 lakh to Gonoshasthaya Hospital to aid in the treatment of these individuals.
Dr Dalilur Rahman emphasised the need for
long-term care and rehabilitation for those injured in the mass uprising. “Fifteen beds at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital have been
reserved for treatment and rehabilitation. The injured will receive both medical care and therapy here,” he stated.
