BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said all problems, including the election roadmap, will be resolved through dialogue and unity.
He also expressed hope that unity is possible.
Fakhrul made the remarks while briefing journalists at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday evening.
He has returned to the country from Singapore after receiving medical treatment.
Extending New Year greetings to the countrymen, Mirza Fakhrul said that this year's Baishakh will clear away all past chaos and help build a new Bangladesh.
On April 6, Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and his wife Rahat Ara Begum went to Singapore for medical check-ups. Earlier on September 1, 2024, they had also travelled to Singapore for similar health examinations.
In 2015, while in jail, a blockage was detected in the internal carotid artery of Mirza Fakhrul’s neck. After his release, he went to Singapore for treatment. Since then, he has been going to Singapore annually for follow-up treatment.
