Dhaka Bank and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on Tuesday announced their collaboration to launch a co-branded Vertical Mastercard credit card for ICMAB members.
The new card will come with a wide range of lifestyle and travel benefits to enhance the transaction experience of cardholders.
Along with an annual fee waiver and unlimited complimentary access to Balaka Executive Lounge at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, cardholders will be able to avail airport pick-and-drop service.
They will also be able to enjoy lounge access at over 1,300 airports across 120 countries through the Mastercard Lounge Key program.
Additionally, cardholders will get to avail of ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ offers at five-star hotels. They will also benefit from a quintuple credit shield program with an insurance cover of up to Tk 40 lakh.
Further, cardholders will be entitled to preferential banking services from Dhaka Bank including enhanced retail and digital banking solutions, exclusive financial services, and lower interest rates on loans.
Marking the occasion, a thought-provoking discussion session on "The Role of Professional Accountants and Bankers in Building a Resilient Economy – Lessons for Bangladesh" was held at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium.
Md Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, Secretary, Internal Resources Division (IRD) & Chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR), was present as the chief guest.
Dr M Masrur Reaz, Founder and Chairman of Policy Exchange of Bangladesh, presented the keynote paper.
