The CID Crime Scene Unit has arrived at Dhanmondi 32 to collect evidence from the demolished house.
The team reached the site at 8am on Monday. A team from Dhanmondi police station has been deployed to assist them. The CID team also brought equipment for evidence collection.
They are collecting various evidences. However, what kind of evidence they are collecting still not known. CID spokesperson Special Police Superintendent Jasim Uddin Khan confirmed the matter.
He said that a CID crime scene team went to Dhanmondi No. 32 in the morning. This team is skilled in collecting evidence from crime scenes. They are collecting evidence related to crimes there. Apart from that, nothing more can be said about it at the moment.
Dhanmondi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ali Ahmed Masud said that some bones were found at Dhanmondi No. 32. The CID crime scene team has been called to check whether they are human or some other animal.
They are collecting the evidence and will take them away. Later, they will test the bones in their lab to see if they are human or some other animal.
Earlier, on Sunday, the fire service worked to remove water from the basement of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's house at Dhanmondi No. 32, suspecting that there was a secret prison.
On February 5, the house of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at No. 32 was demolished by angry students and the public fascist Sheikh Hasina's online speech.
