The colourful grand reunion-2025 of Sena Palli High School was held on the school premises on Friday amid festivity and much enthusiasm.
More than 1,200 alumni from 39 batches participated in the reunion. They recalled the golden days at the school and shared emotions, events and memories of school life with each other.
Former teachers of the school were also present at the reunion, arranged by the Students Association of Sena Palli High School.
Dhaka Cantonment Station Commander Ashrafuzzaman Asha was the chief guest at the event, while Sena Palli High School headteacher Md Mozaffor Hossain was present as the special guest.
Their inspiring speeches highlighted the school's legacy and the important role it has played in shaping the future of the students.
Marking the reunion, a special commemorative magazine was published titled ‘Smritir Arshite’ (On the mirror of memory), which is full of cherished memories, alumni success stories and commemorative writings of current and former teachers.
Reunion-2025 Committee Convener Moshiur Rahman Mamun said, “This reunion has not only revived old friendships but also built a strong network among the alumni of the Sena Palli School. This reunion will be helpful for cooperation among the alumni. New alumni can seek cooperation from the seniors while seeking a job, and seniors can share their experiences through the outcome of the reunion. I think the spontaneous participation of all will surely be a milestone.”
While expressing his feelings, former student Masudur Rahman Manna said, "We are proud of our educational institution and want to work on its rebranding. With the help of former students, we aim to make this school more well-known and established."
