Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, has said that Jamaat-e-Islami does not believe in the concept of majority or minority.
He made this statement on Thursday (January 2) at 9:00 PM during a meeting held at Nath Para in Dakshin Dhurung Union of Kutubdia Upazila, Cox’s Bazar.
Hamidur Rahman Azad said, “Jamaat-e-Islami wants to create a prosperous state comprising people of all religions in this country. We do not believe in ‘Majority’ or ‘Minority’ theory. We are all Bangladeshis and let this be our identity.”
