The Ministry of Home Affairs has called a meeting to address an ongoing dispute between two factions of the Tabligh Jamaat and to determine the date for the upcoming Bishwa Ijtema on Monday, reports Dhaka Tribune.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 am on Monday in the conference room of the ministry.
Faisal Hasan, senior information officer of the ministry, confirmed that the meeting will involve representatives from both factions, Zubair and Saad, of the Tablighi Jamaat.
Discussions will focus on setting the date for the Bishwa Ijtema, maintaining law and order, ensuring overall security for the event, and other relevant matters.
The meeting will be chaired by Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
