Central 14-party alliance coordinator and spokesperson Amir Hossain Amu said BNP is holding rallies in the name of a movement to bring non-political government and create a constitutional vacuum.
He alleged that BNP is trying to create anarchy in the country by holding its rally on 10 December ahead of the country's Victory Day on 16 December.
Amu made the allegation while briefing journalists after the meeting of the fourteen-party alliance at his New Eskaton residence in the capital on Thursday.
He said 14 parties will take part in the next election as an alliance.
Amir Hossain Amu chaired the meeting while Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President Hasanul Haque Inu, Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, Tarikat Federation Chairman Najibul Bashar Maizbhandarim, Jatiya Party Chairman Anwar Hossain Manju, Secretary General Sheikh Shahidul Islam, Workers Party General Secretary Fazle Hossain Badsha and Awami League’s Liberation War Affairs Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das, among other leaders of the fourteen party, were present in the meeting.
