Bangladeshi pacer Taskin Ahmed has earned a spot in Wisden's ODI Team of the Year, often referred to as the "Bible of Cricket." Taskin secured his place in the prestigious lineup through consistent performances in ODIs last year.
The Tiger speed star also performed well in the last T20 world cup. Throughout the year, the performance of this right-arm pacer was consistent.
Wisden’s 2024 Men’s ODI Team includes three players from Sri Lanka, two each from Afghanistan, West Indies, and Pakistan, and one player each from England and Bangladesh. Surprisingly, no players from India or Australia made the list.
