A court in Dhaka on Wednesday placed Salman F. Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak on a four-day remand each in a case lodged over the attempted murder of Dhaka College student Md Shamim during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Imran Ahammed passed the order after police produced the two accused before the court on Wednesday and requested a seven-day remand for each of them in the case, reports BSS.

He later filed the case with the New Market Police Station on November 28.
