Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday forecasted weather may remain dry over the country for the next 24 hours.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said the forecast begins from 9am on Wednesday, reports BSS.
A ridge of sub-continental high extends up to the West Bengal and the adjoining area. A seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during late night to morning.
The night temperature may fall slightly over the country and the day temperature may fall by two to three degrees Celsius over the northern part and fall slightly elsewhere over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius in Teknaf and the minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.
The sun will set at 05:33 pm on Monday and will rise at 06:43 am in Dhaka on Tuesday.
