The government has promoted 59 administrative officers and personal officers to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre).
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
According to the notification, 59 officials have been promoted to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre) and appointed as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) at the Ministry of Public Administration.
They will be posted later as per regulations.
According to the "National Pay Scale, 2015," promoted officials will receive salaries and benefits under Grade 9, as mentioned in the notification.
