Two more dengue patients died and 31 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning in the country.
"During the period, 16 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 15 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The dengue death toll has risen to seven so far this year.
On the other hand, the total number of dengue cases rose to 700 across the country.
Of them, 60.4 per cent are male and 39.6 per cent are female patients.
In 2024, the country recorded 575 dengue-related deaths and a total of 101,214 dengue cases.
