The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has expressed optimism that Bangladesh will achieve prosperity under the leadership of Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of the interim government.
On Thursday (April 10), Bangladesh's newly appointed ambassador to the UAE, Tareq Ahmed, presented his credentials to the UAE President. Sheikh Mohamed made these remarks during the occasion.
According to a press release from the Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi, a formal ceremony was organized by the UAE government for the presentation of credentials by newly appointed ambassadors.
During the event, Bangladesh's ambassador also presented his credentials. In a brief exchange, Ambassador Tareq Ahmed expressed his gratitude for the kind sentiments shown toward the Bangladeshi expatriate community residing in the country.
The ambassador conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh’s interim government to the UAE President. He also reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to further strengthening the ongoing cooperation based on the existing friendly, strong, and long-standing relations between the two countries.
Wishing peace for the people of both nations, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his keen optimism that Bangladesh will experience prosperity under the leadership of Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus.
He also conveyed his interest in the continued enhancement of mutual cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly nations. Finally, he requested the ambassador to convey his best wishes to the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh’s interim government.
