BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that if ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has moral courage, she should admit her wrongdoing and return to the country to face legal proceedings.
He made the remarks at a press conference held on Tuesday afternoon at the BNP central office in Naya Paltan, Dhaka.
Rizvi said that calls for Hasina’s return are nothing but habitual rhetoric and political grandstanding. “If she truly has moral courage, she should admit her crimes and come back to face the law,” he said.
Commenting on the country’s current situation and Eid travel, Rizvi said that due to various positive and effective measures taken by the present government, people are now able to celebrate Eid in a peaceful and comfortable environment.
