Actress and producer Meher Afroz Shaon has been arrested in city.

She was detained from Dhanmondi on Thursday night.

DMP Additional Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallick told the media that she was detained from the capital's Dhanmondi area tonight on charges of sedition.

She will be interrogated in DB custody regarding the allegation of sedition.
